I think they would see the first rune as a path to the goal that is the second rune. For example, Buserian and Yelmalio require Truth to reach the Sky. Erissa and Chalana Arroy require Harmony to reach Life. Humakt immerses himself in Death to understand Truth. Lhankor Mhy uses Truth to understand Law and so on.
