The trouble is in Revealed Mythologies, Zzabur describes himself as
throwing the gates of Solace open to the world (p2). One can get around
this difficulty by redefining the meaning of Solace for the Brithini (ie
Solace of the Body is personal immortality). Zzabur may have a more
arcane understanding of what he means by the gates of solace - it could
mean something like allowing the energies of the Abstract Plane to
provide Solace for the World Body so that he imbues glorantha with
immortality.

I think the Schism goes like this.
If the Brithini do acknowledge Solace they would do so according in terms of the Revelations of Now, not the new wave mystical bullshit interpretation put forward by a Great Man gone Ga-ga before his time.
