Counters and strikes hasn't been part of gloranthan rules since 2003. And Under the Red Moon, HQ 1's attempt at mystical rules, had it firmly embedded within the paradigm of Lunar magic.

That's been my position.

p54 of Revealed Mythologies has a list of Vithelan deities that can be sacrificed to and worshipped. Sacrifice is theistic magic. The Vithelan pantheon is also described as theistic in Arcane Lore p26.
