I am not at all knowledgeable about Kallyr, but I am quite sure she actually WAS risen from death and played a number of roles in the years to come. A source I may quote but not name, told me to read on in KoS and elsewhere to find out:

Read Minaryth Blue, KoS p212.
1626, Battle of Old Top
1627 she lights the Flame
1629 she gets married - it doesn't say who to, though my theory is Argrath White Bull. Might be the PC :)
1630 Argrath Maniskissson gets his friend Harrek to kill her. [...]
I can come up with quite a nice way in which that PC could save her life at the Flame-lighting, too, while also completely wrecking what she was trying to do :)

Leaving you with the dangling ends of this knot ;-) but perhaps seeding ideas.
