The reading list in the Guide is a list of books that Greg and I have gone back to many times in the process of writing the Guide or in initially creating Glorantha. Its "our" list. I've read quite a bit of Eliade, but as a way of understanding Glorantha, I'd recommend Campbell over Eliade in a heartbeat. Heck, I'd recommend Joyce over Eliade as well.
