I think that there are several possible options. They could be run as solo heroquests, or enlarged to give his friends and relatives a chance to share the glory. How about a Helering heroquest involving one of his other aspects? He's still a god of sheep, so a heroquest involving saving one of his prize rams from Daga (Drought, Heler's chief enemy), or herding a flock of cloud sheep, might do.

Another route would be gaining the Water rune from another watery being. There's heaps of naiads and river gods around. Save a naiad's spring, stream or river from pollution by Chaos, or oppression (e.g. being dried up) by a Fire-related foe or Daga.

Depending on where the campaign is being run, there's the Cleansed One ritual in Prax. Usually used for removing a Chaos taint, but could easily be converted into gaining a Water rune. The afflicted individual jumps into the waters of the Zola Fel at the Leaping Place, and must swim the river all the way to the delta. It's tough, and you could work all sorts of other stuff into it for the other players if you wished.
