Peter Metcalfe, again.

> Nick apparently has had a bad day...

An excellent day, in fact! Best for a long time! Thanks for asking.

> I do not believe that Dendara is worshipped for being the Sun Gods

Nah, she's a sort of Hera or Juno figure more than an Earth Goddess. She defines correct female behaviour. The GoG writeup misses the point IMHO.

> It is in Malia's best interests not to be propitiated.

Balls. Propitiation gives her carriers, power, and prolongs the misery of doomed life. The great Plagues are rare because there's a risk they could kill everything. Propitiation serves Malia's purposes admirably.

This smokescreen of rhetoric can't disguise the fact that you're backing off from your earlier position. Good.

> FYI, the Kralori goddess is *called* Dendara (Gog, G:CotHW).

In God Learner translation. Read GoG on "Names".

> I'm hardly the one to blame for Dendara being the same on both sides

Well, nobody is, if she isn't. So why do you want her to be? Fettering yourself to an utterly literal interpretation of GoG is *not* conduicive to MGF, and you're the only man I know who wants to do it -- in this one case alone, it appears, given your willingness to accept Yu-Kargzant and Ti Shang [or whatever] as valid defining names not found in GoG or G:CHW.

> Next time, you contribute to this thread, could you at least be polite?

I want this thread to DIE. I am glad to have put my strenuous objections to it on record, and will happily ignore your postings on it from now on (if you feel moved to make any). But it is a complete waste of time, even more so than your previous GRAY-rehashing. That died, too, unmourned...
