I've resisted sending this in for fear of getting told it's too Christian
but the obvious thing for the Dronar to do to Hrestol is to take their grain
flails and chastise him with them. This won't kill him and it has the symbolic
sense of 'beating out the chaff' from the wheat: seperating the sin from the
sinner.
