Tidbits:
Sandy says that the Brithini probably have a War Manual. From what I've seen and heard from Stafford's 'Arkatsaga,' I'd agree. I'd also point out that the manual probably relies on tactics calling for 300-to-1 kill ratios (no exaggeration).

I agree with Loren - don't try to rationalize Harrek's anti-magic abilities within the framework of RQ rules. If your PC encounters him in game, he is nothing but the GM's deus ex machina (sp?-I took Spanish in High School).

What's to say that a Hrestoli Crossbowman Commander can't be recognized as a knight?

{Soapbox: Stafford/Petersen/et al. can't think of everything by the  print deadline. Don't try to force good ideas into the pre-defined  boundries of printed material. If people here come up with good  ideas, or uncover previous oversights, let's recognzie that serves  to 'stretch the boundries.'

 Case in point: Cults of Prax. Lots of people like to quote CoP  as a definitive source. Our collective thinking has come a long way  since the publication of this tome 15+ years ago. Some things in  there just don't make sense, or are silly, and we've abandoned those

 ideas.                                                Off Soapbox..}

Warning:
Nick Brooke will be staying with me here for a few days, starting tomorrow. He's then off to Texas and John Medway.

I can't speak for John, but if I start signing my messages "All Hail the Reaching Moon!", please have me kidnapped, imprisoned and deprogrammed. Thanks.
