In Digest V2 #198, Erik Sieurin complained of not having the official yet
unpublished Trickster/Eurmal write-up. I happen to know it has made it to
your side of the pond, Erik, so a little discrete asking-around should turn
it up. I have the heretical notion (not entirely original to me) that
Trickster shrine aspects (and their associated spells) change at random
intervals. Also, shrines have a short half-life (a year, maybe?), so they
tend to go away and get replaced by some other aspect, or at least a
different spell. There are MANY unique Trickster spells. I like your
Illusionary Weapon, Erik, and think that there are many similar spells, some
spirit and some divine. How about: Make Toads Jump from Victim's Mouth (1
point ranged non-stackable temporal), Switch Weapons (1 point ranged n-s
instant), Fluster (2 point spirit: like Befuddle, only different), and Remove
Shadow (a Peter Michaels original).
I have to agree with Erik over my good friend Peter about Eurmali being
non-members of Orlanth. I think damn few Eurmali are NOT Orlanth cultists.
Many Eurmali are involuntary initiates, having been forced into the role by
the needs and prejudices of the community. "We need a Eurmali [to beat up]
in this ritual. We took a vote, and guess what--you won!" "Duh, OK."
