John Hughes comments on Yinkin have given me an idea. In Brolia traditionally women can't be Wrothelingan/Odaylan hunters because several important cult rituals are hieroi gamoi. So independant-minded women have to travel to Anadiki, Xarkarsh or Worion join a foreign cult and quite likely never return home. OTOH they could worship Yinkin and remain in the normal clan structure. Such circumstances would probably end up with Yinkin worship being dominated by the kind of people who would join Vinga or Babeester in more civilized regions.
