        Rigorous minimaxing is a genuine game technique. Doing something that doesn't make sense, just because you want to is personality. Especialy if you examine the reasons for actions carefully, and still end up doing the illogical. This is called following your heart, instead of your head. Have you never liked someone without being able to say why?

        This is the last post I care to make on this subject; if you wish to continue in this vein, I suggest you take your basic question to a psychology  list/digest, and let the rest of us get back to Glorantha.
