The attempt to argue Esrolia's tactics via real-world example is fatuous, IMO. There has never been a real-world matriarchy. Clearly there is some mythical reason that Esrolia is different from real places, and we should look for that, rather than argue whether earthquakes can be used to disrupt cavalry charges. - --
