Hellwood/Corrupted Humakti

I've just read the last few days worth of Digests. The Hellwood information is *cool*. Here's a description that a close friend of mine (Korak Headtaker, worshipper of Humakt and part-time Dehori demon) managed to weasel out of a Hellwood Dryad:

"Ahhh... you ask about the eternal mystery of Krjalk and Aldrya? Strange how those who discover the secret do not understand it.  We Aldryami know the *truth*, the Poisonthorn elves know it, but refuse it's incontrivable truth. Rashoran, almighty master of Illumination and father of Nysalor, taught Aldrya the Path of Healing. With the aid of the beings, the chaotic foulness that crawled from the Void, Aldrya discovered her true self and revelled in the Chaotic powers within. She took Pocharngo, the source of chaotic fertility, as her own, and Krjalk as her servant-protector. With the advent of the Sun, who's feeble powers were of no use when Aldrya had the might of Tyram and his sister at her side, her servants who knew the truth were unable to spread the word that their mother had discovered the Truth. Therefore, most elves remain ignorant of the powerful connections that Aldrya earned. Only the Poisonthorn elves remained of this knowledge. They were jubliant with the ressurection of the Illuminator, Nysalor.
After the Bright Light's death, they fought and quarreled -- chaos was evil, the evidence was obvious. They shut away the hidden powers of chaos, and only followed the Bright Side of Nysalor, also shutting away their greatest powers. In the hope that the Truth of Aldrya would never be discovered, and cause their race to be persecuted, they stopped all contact with the outside world.
When the Moonburn came, from the stupid and ignorant non-elves, all of whom are of no worth nor value, the Rist elves came. They were accepted by their brethren, and therein learnt of the secrets. They knew that without chaos they would never defeat the evil non-elves who had destroyed their forest, and so embraced it. With it's power they channeled the life of chaos into the land where Hellwood now stands, and trees did grow there.  We have lived there ever since, all of us. Banished from the Poisonthorn by ignorant and weak fools who deny their heritage. Our greatest leaders, who are Illuminated through the knowledge of Rashoran, can truly embrace the powers of Krjalk and Pocharngo and give us the great powers of the forest. That is what chaos is, our friend, our true nature. Our final evolution, for all Aldryami, is as chaos, and the entire world will unite underneath the efforts of our Great Mother."

From the Hazard Fort records, 1617 ST -- the Humakti slew the Dryad, being personally involved with one or two Poisonthorn elves he did not believe the Dryad, and assures me that it was a lie.

Also, on Humakti who join for Truth and end up homicidal maniacs -- I know one. My GM's PC, Lord Timothy, is an old and powerful Humakti who claims to be the embodiment of his Master and Lord, is little more than a murderer. Anyone or anything that disagrees with *his* POV is slain or, if you're lucky, tortured. Is this a true Humakti? I don't think so.
