According to Sun County he won the Garhound Contest in 1604. He'd be at least 18 and no more than 25 or so (he's described as having been "young" when he won it; given that the typical contestant is in his early 20s, you wouldn't describe someone older than 25 as "young" in this context. But then I'm reading a lot into what was probably a throwaway line. MOB, Philip, or John care to comment?)
There are some problems with this estimate, as I'd like to know during which years he became an outlaw from Sartar and assumed his disguised identity in Pavis (must have been before he won the Contest, so on reflection he was probably closer to 25 than 18 in 1604).

I'd guess that they boated there before the Closing. (Are there no Orlanthi in Fronela?) Anyway, Orlanthi get around; having the Motion Rune as your charioteer does that.
