While I would argue slightly with the 'talented' appelation above, being a creature of extreme modesty, the rest is indeed true.

Any of you out there who are interested in writing for the fiction line, please write to Marion at:

or at:

Glorantha Fiction

and we'll send you out a package of "writers' guidelines" once we've finished putting them together.

DO NOT send us stories without a prior request for them, the mailbox probably isn't that big!

Intentions at present are to produce both anthologies (short stories, novellas, and poetry) and novels set in Glorantha.

What we are aiming at:
1) fiction that can be read and enjoyed by anyone, not just by gamers. (This means that we do NOT want retellings of what you did in last night's game. We also do NOT want long elaborations of spell casting rituals in the text, or detailed retellings of battle strategies.) 2) fiction that, while being definitely Gloranthan in feel and setting, cannot be recognised as being "game related" to a non-gamer.

This may seem a bit harsh, but we are looking at the broad fantasy reading population out there as our prime market, and while game-spawned novels sell, they sell best if the game mechanics are invisible!

More details in the writers' guidelines on request.
