Even better -- cheat. Create a minor (or not so minor) HeroQuest that a character must suceed in to gain the respect and blessings of the respective cults in order to become a priest and/or rune lord of both cults. Of course, you might have difficulty finding a Quest to follow to become a cross Yelm Imperator and karrg's Son.....
Or, alternatively, create a Hero Cult that once you join allows you to become a priest and/or rune lord of both cults.
Or ignore the rule anyhow. I liked the Rune Master approach of RQII (but then maybe I'm just an old romantic :) ). Just don't come running to us when problems occur....
As for Dorastor, simply ensure that the ruling bodies of the Land of Doom become Liberal Democrats, after all - it can't get much worse :}
