Suffice it to say that IMG there were nights and days before Yelm bit it. That's why origin myths often start out with "One fine day long, long ago" and feature sentences such as "They waited for night to fall and then snuck into the halls of the palace of death and past the snoozing guard." If you believe, as Robert seems to, that the day/night cycle is a tragic result of Yelm's murder and resurrection then your Glorantha may vary.
