*Not really. IMO It's an attempt to confuse the Lunar taxman who *probably charges a head tax on Orlanthi worshippers.

        I had always thought that the worship of Ernalda & Barntar was that 'standard' form for Lunarized Barbarians (ex-Orlanthi in places like Saird, Tarsh & Holay). This is the typical first step in civilizing the great unwashed mobs; get them to worship a farmer, not a hunter/ warrior/cattle-stealer.
