Well, from my impression, Sir Holburn's Axe Brothers may be a unit that takes in members of many different cults, and may have a few Priests of differing faiths on staff to tend to the varying spiritual needs of the worshippers.
As for male Earth Deities, the few that I can think of off hand are Barntar, Pavis, perhaps Waha, none of which are strictly mercenary gods. However, I can see Pavis and Waha worshippers striking off in certain mercenary roles (A Pavis/Flintnail initiate working with the seige engines, while a Waha tribesman acts as a scout.) Pavis worshippers are definitely favorable to axes, from my recollection (It's literally been YEARS since I ran Big Rubble.) There's also the High King Elf subcult of Aldrya, but this is usually open to Aldryami and associated races, for obvious reasons. Finally, Mostali favor axes, if memory serves correctly, due to the Earth rune connotations.
Orlanth Adventurous worhsippers are permitted by their cult vows to take any manner of honorable employment, and often do. Because of his victories in the God's War against other deities, Orlanth initiates and Wind Lords may use any weapon, although the sword is favored for obvious reasons. Young men and women in Orlanth adventurous (or Vinga, if you follow the Jane Williams view) often find employ as mercenaries during their adventuring days.
Finally, the Sun Dome Templars do not restrict resurrection, although they favor spears, primarily.
