I rather like the idea that the sun produces an effect not-unlike Computer Eye Strain. ;-) ie; The longer the Uz stay in the sun, the more reduced are their abilities to perceive, that is assuming they aren't wearing blindfolds. Also, vision can DO things sonar cannot, and I've no doubt Uz artisans have come to use sight as well as sonar to get a combination aesthetic (Only the avante garde experimentalists of course ;-).

Joe Smith asked about Skyfall scenarios:

The Skyfall lake fishing trip IS in "Into the Troll Realms"...

Don't forget the constant rain in the area is the blood of the Sky River Titan, Lorian. Story goes Three gods walked into a bar... Lorian, and Earth diety (Hard Earth?), and another forgotten god. This Chaos monster was there, and the forgotten god tried to smite it and got eaten and forgotten (which makes the monster sound like Kajabor the Void (right god?)), and Lorian had a go and was injured, fleeing into the sky, (still strong enough to make a place for himself in the heavens!!). Then Hard earth throws himself on the monsters spear, breaking it, and the monster died because its essence was in its weapon, Hard Earth died too.

I say hard earth is that big Gipsum Rock in Snakepipe Hollow, near the river, source of a spear breaking magic. I also reckon having the blood of a water god as rain can be really cool for MGF, and remember it's a purifying force, like the Zola Fel cleansed one magic. And having fragments of Void at the bottom of the lake is very scary, lots of Uz prayers to Lorian.

The whole place reeks of magic, and powerful spirits both good and bad. Whenever PC's go there, whey should feel litterally out of their depth. If your sending PC's there, give 'em hell, but also reward them with some magical thing they cannot comprehend, like a everful pot of pea soup that also makes very-thick-fog as a side effect, or other silly things.

Maybe use the Strangers in Prax scenario with Baran Monster Killer and the giant Eel to transport them to the location of the lake, suddenly surrounded by Trolls. Eeek!

Have the PC's used as BAIT by their Troll enemies!! Aaargh!

Have them sent by their Shaman to collect a magic fish/thing from the lake. Uhhh-oh!

Just be evilly MGF.

Briefly, Has anyone notices it the Humakti runes of Truth (Y) is placed over the rune of Death (t), with the arms o the Y matching the t, it looks a lot like a RW religions icon?! Wha say the GL's on this correlation, what hidden truths are revealed?
