     Dragonewts are intended to be mysterious, incomprehensable creatures and not player characters. The way to handle rebirth is to not allow them that advantage; the PC DN should be "off the path" and lack access to most DN advantages.

      The Glorantha Book in the RQ3 set has more specifics on dragonewts, you should steal a look at that.
