Teleos (again)

Hi there,

Thanks to Simon Bray, Stephen Martin and Peter Metcalfe for posting information about Teleos. It certainly shed some light on the isolate isle. Heres a few thoughts thats popped up in my mind:

  1. Stephen Martin writes:

> Specific mention is made a number of times that the Teleosians "have

Would it be possible that there has been some sort of interaction between the tribes prior to the Closing, and that the tribal enmity is somehow related to it (i.e., the Closing)? Maybe the Closing is seen as a curse from Teleos the Founder.

2) Re Child Trading:

Maybe sexual intercourse is ritualized in the same manner as the Child Trading. For example: The Child Trading always occurs during the first week of Sacred Time, this being the only time the tribes actually meet. The last week of Sacred Time would then be a gigantic fertility ritual, culminating on the last day of the year. Despite the obvious orgy-like associations, I like this.

3) Ive seen several references on the GD to the unpublished Pamaltela and Oceans books. Are they to remain unpublished, or has some information been published from them (apart from Tales #10 and #11)?

Thats it for now.

Cheers,
Erik Nolander
