By saying:

This is good to hear as I've been dedicating a fair bit of time to studying Balazar ala the Griffin Mountain version. IMG the sorry temples found in Balazar at the three citadels, Elkoi, Dykene and Trilus don't actually qualify as Sun Dome Temples as Balazar failed when he tried to introduce the cult of Yemalio as known in Sun County. For some reason the Votanki (as the Balazarings were originally known) weren't receptive to male dominated, rigidly hierarchical, tight-assed, priggish cults. (Go figure). Instead Balazar was forced to heroquest/research for an alternative which he found in the form of an older version of the Yemalio cult known as Yemalio, the Cult of the Warrior. This is an individualized warrior cult that emphasizes spears and individual bravery over the sort of Yemalio cult known elsewhere (except maybe in Ralios? Maybe Balazar came from the southwest, not the northwest, hmmm.)

Balazaring Yemalio worshippers usually (almost always) belong to the hero cult of Balazar as well which is also worshipped at the "Sun Dome" temples. The subcult of Balazar offers it's worshippers the rare spell of true spear. Very useful. Geases and gifts exist but they're a bit different from the standard lot.

The Balazaring high priests wish they could build temples with golden domes but they can't. Their version of Yemalio would be about as welcome in Sun County as a bunch of cross-dressing Elmali or Zorak Zoran death lords.

Again all IMG,
