There's no inherent reason to suppose they aren't sexually active now. Just because you're post-menopausal (and therefore no longer have your fertility aspects) doesn't mean you have to give up sex. OK, so older men are more likely to be impotent than younger ones, but that doesn't apply to women and is hardly universal in any case.
