Peter tells me:
> There are two feathered queens in Dragon Pass. One is the Feathered
> Horse Queen whereas the other is the Feathered Queen of the Kerofini
> Temple.

I've heard the latter mentioned without ever being sure what her position is. Since the Grazer FHQ is an earth priestess, and any Queen, Feathered or otherwise, of Kerofini is also an earth priestess, I'd guess that the roles must be similar. But what do Feathers have to do with it? For the Grazer FQH, yes, feathers -> birds -> sky in a predominately Sky culture, but what do they have to do with Kerofin?

Because the first marriage went null and void when Kallyr died. So he had to do the job again, this time in his own name. The benefits of being KoDP are continuous, surely, not a one-shot injection?

Yes. But this has nothing to do with the LBQ (different numbers, different structure), so is the answer to a different question. Which question it answers I have no idea, but I'd guess related to whatever she was doing in the period 1613-1625.

BTW, does anyone else find it vastly irritating that the Pinchining Quest was left out of the Cradle scenario, and the PCs are left to do the monster-bashing?

As for how to do the quest: as I recall, the original Pinchining was knocked out by Lunar magic. So, retrieve the body (bottom of the river?), take to CA temple, request a quick Ressurrection. It would be nice to use the Sun Dome CA temple, since they have affinities with Gold, but at least some of the Sun Domers seem to have been on the Lunar side. Maybe Garrath's contribution was the politics?
