"The sun (lumination device, temporal mode, work order # 9745 390 - 09384) stopped, you say?

I do recall the work period which would not end, the moment which repaired the World Machine outside of work periods. But there was this gr*wing malfunction when the perfect concept split up."

IMO the Sun Stop was one of the event which caught few people unawares. Probably most of Glorantha's inhabitants were busy supporting one immense rite or another at the time. At least that's what seems to have been going on in the CoT history.

>He is capable of talking about things that aren't rocks, though.

I know a couple of specialists who aren't always capable of talking about things outside of their speciality. Petrographers with their special attunement to rock especially...

IMO Mostali are really like annoying science, car, soccer, engineering, fashion or whatever nerds when you talk to them. They manage to turn any topic into their favourite subject and waddle on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on <Gold overseer cutting in here>.
