revert to ancestral class as suggested - problem if no skill at all. Would have to survive on hand outs from father.- creates a kind of degenerate sub caste of hopeless cases who cannot work and are too thick to become Mandarins. bribe/blackmail examiners.
become a zombie galley slave
or even worse:
become an adventurer!
