One should distinguish between Knowledge and particular representations of same. Yes, they'd want such knowledge, but most initiates of the Knowing God would be more than happy with mental or verbal information about 'how to get from A to B', or 'what's near X'. The need for a pictorial map, much less a geometrically precise one, is another matter entirely. This is particularly so given the emphasis put on oral knowledge by Orlanthi Lawspeakers, as per an earlier discussion.

For most people, an 'accurate' map (or other representation of geographical knowledge) is one that tells 'em what they need to know.
