Maybe I should have asked "How many plot points does it take a beginning character to reach WWW?" then I wouldn't have been lectured about the rate plot points may be dished out. I am perfectly (nay, horrificly) well aware that it's up to the referee to dish 'em out at the rate he or she sees fit, whether it's "bad session, only 20 today" in Eric's campaign or "1 and you're lucky you got that" in others.
