They were driven northwards from their lands by the Telmori _before_ Boldhome was raised (KoS p134). Their status is unusual. Questlines #1 states they were part of the Jonstown tribes yet the Jonstown Guide says that they and the Maboder refused to join the City Ring. KoS doesn't explicitly say they were part of the Jonstown Tribes. >>
My own assumption is that they may have been invited to join the Jonstown Ring when it was created, but chose not to do so (it is somewhat less beneficial to them, given the distance). However, in keeping with Questlines #1, I further assume that they have joined the Ring more recently, probably after the Dinacoli left to join the Alda-Churi.
