In a message dated 10/8/99 7:00:13PM, you write:

<< (For some reason, the goddess Natha springs to mind as a good'un for
>assassins to worship. Although there are plenty of other demons and deities
>who'd do just as well. Natha, of course, is the proto-Lunar goddess of
>Murder and Blasphemy and Sacrilege).

I used Natha as a Murderer aspect of Trickster, which worked out quite nicely when the Humakti backed down from killing the Shah the trickster sneaked up behind and did it.

<<I'm curious about this - I rather think that while the BMC are the hard  cases of the assassination world (available basically to anyone with the  money and the right connections) the indivdual houses' assassins would be  of a generally more refined paradigm, extraordinarily skilled and focussed  advisors to the house leaders.

My own view is that the Blue Moon are not the hard cases of the assassination world, and they are certainly not available for hire as they have there own SECRET agenda. They work for the Lunar Empire because, well because it is a **Lunar** Empire. They are dangerous and scary because no one know what they are going to do. For hard cases I would go for Harrek (less subtle than 'assassination' I suppose) who got involved in a Dart War (AFAIK), and specialists like No Print.
