I suppose Jaldon's Golden Horde having sacked all of Dragon Pass were looking for the way back to Prax. Having burnt all the signposts, they mistook the Upper Oslir for the Creekstream River and headed off in the wrong direction whereupon they were promptly devoured by a passing Red Dragon.
