Although several people have already responded to a similar question from Gazza, I'll weigh in ...
None of the RQ3-era books entirely reprinted or even covered all the old RQ2-era material found in Pavis and Big Rubble. There's plenty of overlap between them, but not enough to make the latest reprint unwelcome. Personally, I think the Cradle scenario to be found in Pavis is the best scenario ever written for an RPG! But many here may disagree with me because it was written in the bad old days of gaming when dungeon crawls and such were still en vogue ... You'd never see a scenario like the Cradle being published today because it's really not political enough or socially redeeming or even socially involved. It's also an example of high-powered gaming that many might equate with the much maligned Power Gaming. And these opinions are both worthy and mostly right ... But, and this is likely the effects of nostalgia talking, the Cradle scenario is still #1 with me! And the other scenarios in Big Rubble were ripping too!
So, what it comes down to is three things: a) if you're a completist (the epithet "Mr Suitcase" comes to mind, sorry Rick!), you must get the reprint from Moon Designs (or Wizards Attic), or b) if your campaign is set in and near Pavis, the reprint is really useful, and c) if your campaign is more combat-oriented and less political intrigue and social interplay, then the reprint is useful. Otherwise, it's fairly useless. I have it because a=b=c=True for me ...
YGMV and other opinions are no less valid than mine.
