Dom Twist:

>I just dont see WHY Orlanth's cult is barred to females! I could see Storm
>Bull being males only....Storm Bull is about as 'Male' as it gets, all
>testosterone and macismo,

You can see the masculinity of Storm Bull but not Orlanth? What do you make of Orlanth's behaviour in "How Peace was Made" (KoS p72) or in "Orlanth's Wooing of Ernalda" (WF p82) then?

In the Genertelan Player's Book p17, one of Orlanth's attributes is "men's god" whereas one of Ernalda's attributes is "women's Goddess".

>I could see Humakt being oposed to female
>cultists....women joing the cult losing their fertility and so on.

When has Humakt forbidden women worshippers? Londra of Londros would be most surprised.

>But Orlanth is the Cheiftan of his people and excludes no-one. I have been
>re-reading the stories and legends of Orlanth and I just cant make him out
>that way at all.

Then bear in mind that Orlanth _shares_ the leadership of his people with Ernalda as King and Queen respectively.

>Why should his entire cult be male only, aspects ok, but the whole
>thing?

Since when has anybody said this? The argument was over whether Orlanth Thunderous (associated with life giving fertility in Wyrm's Footprints) was such a male aspect.

>Vinga's stories are well written and enjoyable, but I dont see her
>niche being big enough to form a wise spread cult. A hero figure
>and cult in a few clans possibly....

Women who want to be warriors isn't a sufficient enough niche?
