The way faro is played the traditional pasteboard cards could be replaced by domino or mah jongg-like tiles made of wood, ivory or clay and the spring-loaded "shoe" replaced with any number of containers. The Casino would likely use something fancy and elegant. I can't help thinking of Belintar as the Chow Yun Fat character in the "God of Gamblers" movies. =)

Peter mentioned a Demigod who's powers Belintar won, unless I misread his reply. Has the story of Belintar and the Casino been written?

Has anyone done any work on which games of chance are associated with the different cultures/nations of Glorantha? I sort of have my plate full with food.

(I haven't yet found a recipe for sugared eels, but I do have one for eels stewed with applejack, which is likely the way eels are prepared around Apple Lane.)
