There is no Year Zero in our calendar. Thus, unless you think that
99=100 and 9=10, 2000 is the last year of the 20th century, not the first
of the 21st.
Now, if you DO think that 99=100 and 9=10, I'd like to buy a few things
off you.
Given sufficient application of that principle, one can develop quite a
"discount".
