I was thinking of a "Year 8/1 Bug", hitting the Lunar calendar in the first year of the eighth wane (1625 ST). Because the Lunar Empire has named each wane since the Zero Wane after a phase of the Moon, of which there are but seven, there could be some fun confusions at the dawn of the Eighth Wane. Presumably the mindlessly plodding Imperial bureaucrats would routinely reject anything dated "Full Half Wane, Year One" as being several centuries out of date.

I am contractually obliged to mention MOB's Kralori abacus-adjuster at this point, but luckily I just did that.
