A few observations...

Does anybody really find all the "Real Men/Real Loonie/Munchkin" comparisons funny? I mean, I've been roleplaying for 17 years, and yet a lot of those games ("Spawn of Fashan"??) I've never even heard of. And there are BIZARRE value judgements implied - what's so intriguing to a "Real Roleplayer" about Arthur C Clarke rather than Asimov, for example? I've no objection to this sort of list IN PRINCIPLE, but surely the intent is that it's supposed to be FUNNY? These are just really sad, in the vast majority of cases.

Right, that's off my chest. ;-)

Once Hero Wars finally arrives, can we reasonably expect to see some honest-to-goodness Hero Quests in actual print? Aside from the fanzines and lots of good web material, of course; I'm just dying to see how the "powers that be" intended such things to be run. Not that I'll necessarily do it that way, of course. IMG, there are no such things as ducks, or Elmal, or Argrath. Ducks are something I don't miss, Elmal can stay good old Yelmalio for me, and my players can figure out how to beat the nasty Lunars without some stickpicker's help.

Finally, has anyone got any good ideas for Storm Bull myths? Aside from the obvious killing Wakboth, I've come up with a myth whereby he learns to harness his inner rage, a myth where he tames the Sky Bulls, and a myth where he learns to sense Chaos. But I'm about stuck there; for a god as important to the world, Storm Bull doesn't seem to have a lot written about him. - --
