if you stir up muddy waters you can expect to get dirty. the player characters have gotten involved with vengeful, utterly evil foes. they know what to expect from their foes, total and eternal enmity. their only recourse is to keep getting more and more powerful and to persecute their enemies until their enemies are utterly destroyed. gian, ask yourself what would machiavelli do? root and branch.
