Since SOMEbody asked

As for the out-of-world explanations:

Prax is the name of a plainsland in a book by "Dr. Seuss"--an author of children's stories. The story tells of a Northgoing Zax meeting a Southgoing Zax, both of them walking on the Plains of Prax. They are both so stupidly stubborn that they spend the rest of eternity staring at each other rather than take a single step to the side. Very "Praxian" behavior.

As for the other names, who knows where The Staffmeister came up with them.

All I know is that Yelm and Chalann are municipalities in Washington state.
