Don't.

And if you must, don't worry about translating each and every spell and item.

They're completely different game systems, and you will not get a literal translation no matter what you do. You're best off starting new characters. Or having everyone agree that they will accept translation in spirit but not in letter.

I'd start out with 100 words, just as for a "new" character (keeping in mind that even starting characters can have lots of previous experience, depending on how they're written). Then I might allow each character to have 5 more things. And tweak the ability values somewhat.

But there's no real way to translate most RQ magic, spirit magic is sort of too small to be mentioned, and divine magic works so differently.
