Sartar Maps & RE

Howdy all,

I'm looking for a Sartarite tribe that has lots of run-ins with Trolls for a closed-to-moderate game. Any recomendations? I immediately thought about something near the Troll Woods (obvious, eh?) and was looking at various maps to decide what was there. Then I realized that my two main maps
(http://www.bvcompuworks.com/wesley/graphics/maps/prax_dp_map_download.jpg and http://home.primus.com.au/arkat/sartar.html) don't agree 100%. Another excellent example of YGMV, which is one of the big pluses of Glorantha IMHO. I'd like to know if Issaries plans to put out an "offical" map? The stuff that I have (RQ2, G:CotHW) just has the big cities and Apple Lane, all the details (exactly where the tribals are, where there are hills and where there are mountains, etc) have been left up to the GM. Will that change? Was something released a long time ago and I missed it?

In a round about way, this brings me to the big RE debate that has eaten up so much bandwidth lately. I don't feel qualified to weigh in, because I have never delved into LE politics. A good Lunar is a dead Lunar. But what I don't understand is why Greg/Martin/Issaries would care about this. I'd think that leaving out the details would be better. Simply say "the RE has come back every time up to now, but hasn't returned this time, thus throwing the LE into the biggest crisis" or something to that effect, and consider the rest to be details. To make the history (story arc? I've never heard that term before) work right, you need a lot more "what" than "why", so leave "why" to the GM. I understand that Greg has artistic control, and to a certain extent final say over everything "offical", but that doesn't mean he should use it. Don't tie people's hands when it isn't needed.
