Greetings Alex, and greetings to all of you,

I'm new on this mailing-list and to RQ/HW discussions in English ^_^ So pardon my newbie expressions ;)

I've played RQ since it's first year in France, in the late eighties. I'm played to a whole Hero Wars campaign designed by our GM, and after that I've mastered some campaigns during nearly 5 to 6 years. I'm played in Prax a lot and I like it, the River of Cradles was a wonderfull campaign and the borderlands are very exciting. The Big Rubble and Pavis are also a whole set of wonders :)

But sincerely, I've run a campaign in Fronela around the Janube City-States and it's a great area too.
I would also be ashamed to forget Ralios, which is as good as Dragon Pass for epic medieval roleplaying IMHO.
I'm also found of Sheshnela, the mighty wizards country, it was always frightening for me and my players never dare to go there :) Beside, there is the Lunar Empire, the greatest country and army of Genertela ...

And the mysterious Kralorelan empire too, the dragon king ... the great elemental priests ...

I'm really sure Genertela (and even more Glorantha) has a lot more to offer than Prax, even if I really like this region. One book on Fronela, Ralios, Sheshnela, The Lunar Empire, Dragon Pass, Prax and Kralorela would be good for me, but this is A LOT of work, and merely dreams :))

As an old grognard myself, I've already all the material I need on Prax, and adaptation is quite easy.
I really think that for old players and for new players, to give them the choice between the different regions of Genertela is probably the best, and once again I will prompt Fronela, Ralios, and all the others ... I really think those regions have "their style of play" and as it's different, it will allow each narrator and players group to find their prefered country ;)

only my two scents,

Guillaume
