<< In Glorantha, rape is usually shunned because it is associated with Thed,
and thus a chaotic act. Does this hold true for rapes during warfare, or the
rape of slaves? If not, how do Gloranthans rationalise the difference?>>
I'd say that a rape during warfare or in the context of slavery is just as much a chaotic act as rape at any other time. Which isn't to say that it doesn't happen, or that all Gloranthan cultures necessarily think of it that way.
<< And is this subject something that you address during a game? >>
Depends on your game, really. I wouldn't be averse to a plot in which Bad Chaotic Things happen because of a series of rapes following some battle or other, and the PCs have to not only whack the Chaotic Nastiness, but point the appropriate finger of blame. But others might feel different.
Forward the glorious Red Army!
