"The Animal Nomads were content when the "cattle bastards"
kept mostly to the regions of No Man's March, the Better
Place, and the approaches to the Storm Hills and Moonbroth
         Oasis"
                 RoC p14 or P&BR p60

The approaches to the Storm Hills is probably the hilly lands between the Storm Hills and Prax. The Pol Joni generally inhabit the northern parts as Biturian Varosh describes them as being driven from Moonbroth Oasis by the Empire (CoP p39) although they were badly beaten up by combined Praxian tribes before 1608 (KoS p144).

>But OTOH, no RQ source ever mentioned the Amber, Ansil or
>Potor. "Pol-Joni" could in these instances probably be taken as referring
>to any of the Bastard Tribes.

They come from the Dragon Pass Order of Battle for the Barbarian Horde where they are distinguished from the Pol Joni clans. Drastic: Prax mentions them as being separate from the Pol Joni, although outsiders generally group them together as a single tribe.

So from the description of "cattle bastards" living in the approaches to the Storm Hills, I think the Amber, Antil and Potor clans live around Barbarian Town.
