How bad is the cut leg? Is he dazed, hurt, injured or dying (HW:RiG p153)? The penalties and recuperation time are described there. First aid helps in healing hurts but for other injuries, he needs major healing magic.
Does he have a healer as a follower, or does another PC-hero have one or is one? If so, the healer can help.
