a few comments:

Thed is female. Chaotic lust is Ragnaglar, who raped Thed, (so that their children the broos are imbued with his peculiar trait and chaotic fertility and continually rape their mother to extract more chaos from her womb. Ragnaglar was dispatched by Urox later in the Godswar but Thed keeps on inducing evil pulsions into them because she's female. IMO)
The words used by the Orlanthi in the tale could be translated by "death spirit", but this can lead to a confusion for Humakt is a god, not a spirit entity.
