Check the FAQ and ERRATA at http://www.herowars.com/hw/ to see if your questions are answered. Also, there is a player locator at http://www.herowars.com/tools/PlayerLocator.html , so see if there is someone nearby already playing and try and get a demo.
If neither of these work for you, then this is the right place. Just ask slightly more specific questions ;-) And let us know what city you live in/near as we may be able to tell you where to get a demo
