True. But they didn't DO anything in the story. If you take one of their roles, you too can do nothing significant. Isn't the point of a HQ to, in some way, *to take part* in a myth? If you are merely a red-shirted extra with no speaking part, you don't take part (in many real sense) in the contests at the stations.
